![]() I'll be re-reading again, more slowly, in the hopes of finding some subtle twists and turns that I might have missed. My questions were answered, albeit not always to my liking, but then what novel can keep everyone happy? Very sad to see the end of such a great storyline and in spite of my disappointments, if you've read 1-6, you should still read this last one. My questions were answered, albeit not always to my. ![]() Some things seemed to be thrown in for convenience without a good explanation. Some of the twists that did come where unexpected, others not, but there just weren't enough of them. JK Rowling seemed to me, in her writing, a little rushed to get the epic over. In a way, I wish I hadn't re-read them as I felt the writing in this wasn't quite up to previous standards and I even managed to read this thoroughly & cover to cover in about 12 hours.Īs a previous reviewer said, I spent the first half of the book waiting for it to really get started, for explanations, twists, action. Whichever narrator you have the good fortune to listen to, they both do the series justice and bring the wonderful wizarding world to life.Afghanistan, Albania, Algeria, Andorra, Angola, Anguilla, Antigua and Barbuda, Argentina, Armenia, Aruba, Australia, Austria, Azerbaijan Republic, Bahamas, Bahrain, Bangladesh, Belgium, Belize, Benin, Bermuda, Bhutan, Bolivia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Botswana, Brunei Darussalam, Bulgaria, Burkina Faso, Burundi, Cambodia, Cameroon, Canada, Cape Verde Islands, Cayman Islands, Central African Republic, Chad, Chile, China, Colombia, Costa Rica, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Côte d'Ivoire (Ivory Coast), Democratic Republic of the Congo, Denmark, Djibouti, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, Egypt, El Salvador, Equatorial Guinea, Eritrea, Estonia, Ethiopia, Fiji, Finland, France, Gabon Republic, Gambia, Georgia, Germany, Ghana, Gibraltar, Greece, Greenland, Grenada, Guatemala, Guinea, Guinea-Bissau, Guyana, Haiti, Honduras, Hong Kong, Hungary, Iceland, India, Indonesia, Ireland, Italy, Jamaica, Japan, Jordan, Kazakhstan, Kenya, Kiribati, Kuwait, Kyrgyzstan, Laos, Latvia, Lebanon, Lesotho, Liberia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Macau, Macedonia, Madagascar, Malawi, Malaysia, Maldives, Mali, Malta, Mauritania, Mauritius, Mexico, Moldova, Monaco, Mongolia, Montenegro, Montserrat, Morocco, Mozambique, Namibia, Nauru, Nepal, Netherlands, New Zealand, Nicaragua, Niger, Nigeria, Norway, Oman, Pakistan, Panama, Papua New Guinea, Paraguay, Peru, Philippines, Poland, Portugal, Qatar, Republic of Croatia, Republic of the Congo, Romania, Rwanda, Saint Helena, Saint Kitts-Nevis, Saint Lucia, Saint Pierre and Miquelon, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, San Marino, Saudi Arabia, Senegal, Serbia, Seychelles, Sierra Leone, Singapore, Slovakia, Slovenia, Solomon Islands, South Africa, South Korea, Spain, Sri Lanka, Suriname, Swaziland, Sweden, Switzerland, Taiwan, Tajikistan, Tanzania, Thailand, Togo, Tonga, Trinidad and Tobago, Tunisia, Turkey, Turkmenistan, Turks and Caicos Islands, Uganda, United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom, United States, Uzbekistan, Vanuatu, Vatican City State, Vietnam, Wallis and Futuna, Western Samoa, Yemen, Zambia, ZimbabweĪs a huge fan, I had recently re-read books 5 & 6 to get up to speed and in the mood for the Deathly Hallows. ![]() Still, his Gilderoy Lockheart in Chamber of Secrets is, while in some ways subtle, a perfect rendition of who he is-I swear you can hear his smarmy smile!
